RHEL 7在虚拟化上也下足了工夫，支持Docker containers、而且承诺可达到接近裸机的运行速度(当部署了SELinux的安全性控制之后)。 这是一种类似于Solaris Zones、并且相当实用的技术，因此我们对其企业环境里的表现很是期待。至于这些“容器”(containers)是否会在全球流行开来，还需要静观一些时日。

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 发布，该版本带来了一些新的功能，主要更新如下：

  • includes the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Workbench

  • compatible with Red Hat Access Insights

  • 6.7 incorporates many of the latest, stable open source technologies

  • 6.7 base image is now available via the Red Hat Customer Portal
