You can use it on both mobile or tablet, but it will be more useful on tablet where you can attach external keyboard. This editor can highlight the syntax for languages like C, C++, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Lua, LaTeX, SQL and many more. DroidEdit is having two version , one is ad supported free version and other Pro version. Pro version has some extra features like SFTP, FTP, Dropbox support, custom theme, root mode and ability to run command through SSH. Other Features includes
