SourceForge 在 Apache许可证下发布了其平台软件Allura，允许开发者创建自己的开源平台。SourceForge的开发者将在博客上介绍Allura平台中 Python、MongoDB、Solr和RabbitMQ的使用。此前SourceForge曾经公开过它的平台软件，但后来又改为闭源了，结果社区创 建了一个分支 GForge。
Allura 是一个开源、可扩展基于Web 的集成了软件工具和协作软件开发的平台。最开始由 SourceForge 在 2009 年推出用来管理源码仓库、Bug 报告、讨论和 Wiki 页面、博客等功能。该项目在 2012年6月贡献给 Apache 基金会。
