Jerry Bezencon has announced the release of Linux Lite 1.0.4, an Ubuntu variant with a customised Xfce as the preferred desktop: " Linux Lite 1.0.4 CFV (community feedback version) for 32-bit computer systems with PAE support has been released. This release implements many significant changes including a new theme, new icon set and a new Games menu including Steam (beta) and a link to the Humble Bundle website. This release is to facilitate feedback on the new additions. This will be the last release before the 1.0.4 final. It's more a beta than a RC given the major changes. This next step in Linux Lite is to show existing Windows users that there are popular gaming opportunities in Linux operating systems. Please be mindful that Steam requires around 300 MB of RAM to run.
