Just a suggestion but maybe update the joyent/http-parser links to nodejs/http-parser, assuming they end up in a changelog?

I'm confused; can't find a 2.6.0 commit at https://github.com/nodejs/http-parser but it seems to be part of this PR.

Edit: I'd like to see that commit and a tag/release so people linking against a shared library aren't left out.

Will land the 2.6.0 commit once the PR is reviewed. Will land that before
this commit lands.

In other words, consider this the release proposal :)

@jbergstroem ... will definitely be landing that commit and tagging, just wanted to make sure to get the LGTM's before doing so. Given the three so far, I think we're good to go.

Adds support for new http methods that previously were not supported. For
instance, try sending a LINK request to v5 currently.
