@rvagg can the TC agenda include #1674 and #1684 instead of #1665 as from what I understand they supersede it?

@benjamingr we'll probably just address #1665. The other two don't really need TC attention yet. (Both are fine just need work to actually do.)

@Fishrock123 well, the issues in them that need addressing are: "should an opt in flag be provided to warn when sync io is done after the first turn" and "should the project take a more proactive role in documenting its usage vs just its APIs".

@benjamingr everything needs addressing though. Those are still fine to be discussed by collaborators / users for now, but if you want my TC bit:

  • could we provide the flag? I think so if someone writes it.
  • should we document that stuff? I think so.

If you don't want to discuss these at the TC (which is understandable) I don't understand why you'd discuss #1665 since it's clear that it's not going to happen and no one is pushing for it at this point following the discussion that went on it.
