Originally by @hesara This change effectively reverts #13277. |
Originally by CodingFabian any considerations to backport this to 7.2.x ? I had to manually mess with dependencies to get my 7.2. based project to work |
Originally by @hesara A change that changes the license of a dependency into a slightly less free direction is problematic in a maintenance release - many people upgrade to the latest maintenance release without reading the release notes. Thus, I'm afraid this will not come to 7.2.x. Note that apart from the Valo theme, a new version of the Sass compiler and some other theme changes (primarily the use of box shadows that may affect existing applications), 7.3 is quite close to 7.2 so in many cases the upgrade should be reasonably easy and safe once 7.3.0 is out. |
Originally by CodingFabian i understand. but 7.3 is not yet out :-) |

TestBench (and many other jars) use org.json which conflicts with android-json used by the framework as android-json is not 100% API compatible.
Chromedriver depends on org.json
