开源智能眼镜 [OPEN SMART GLASS]

在我朋友圈中的许多朋友应该都看到了在过去几个月内断断续续发的一些照片。是的，我正在筹划一个设计开源的智能眼镜，中间经过数个月的耽搁，停止了一段时间。但项目已经接近完成。所以，接下来的一段时间里，会在微博正式开始更新的信息，相关的网站也会逐步上线并与大家一起分享设计方案。

关于Open Smart Glass

最近的一年里，智能穿戴式设备如火如荼，我们都思考着智能设备与我们之间的关系，展望着未来的美好。Google wear让我们有幸窥探到这些美好的块段，而这个开源眼镜的目的，并不是为了展示一个完美的商业解决方案，提供最小最优化的硬件软件设计，从而跟这些趋于成熟的设计竞争；而是通过分享并不完美的方案，提供给所有爱好智能穿戴式设备的人们一个快速的检验平台，期望集合所有梦想家的力量，让这个项目成为大家实现想法的平台之一。

关于设计过程

这个项目开始于3月份的一个大胆的设想。通过思考Google Glass的设计，觉得自己可以通过可以购买到的一些原件，以非常低成本的方式完成一个类似的硬件原型，并通过在这个简化平台上实施自己的一些想法。期间翻阅了各式的资料，尝试着以前从来未曾涉及的各个领域，从简单的电子电路基础、信号传输、焊接、光学原理、无线充电、以及3D建模与3D打印技术。家里也逐渐囤积着批量购买与用报废的元件们，期间的账单和乐趣也逐步递增。经过5个版本的外壳设计以及3个版本的硬件方案，4个多月的尝试，终于得到比预期更加完善的设计。

关于开源计划

之后将建立网站、公众账号和简单的沟通平台，以供同好们进行交流，更欢迎大家通过任何社交网络自由交流。我也会在网站上放出基础的设计思路、部分设计源文件。并保留对于利用这些内容进行商业开发的追究责任。

A lot of my friends had a chance to see some updates in my Wechat SNS platform in the last few months. Yes, I was designing an open source smart glass in past half year. With some pause time, my design is very close to ‘final’. So I will share more information in my SNS and I also plan to develop a website to share more design details.

About Open Smart Glass

In last year, wearable tech was a hottest topic around the world. We take smart devices as possible to dreaming the future about technology and us. A lot of company as Google also related Google wear to show this. The purpose to design this is not given another solution for a consumer products with the smallest and optimized design. It’s giving a chance to people like me, to test some idea quickly with affordable prices. I want rely on everyone who wants to join this. To create an open platform for everyone.

About design story

This project starts as a daring idea in March this year. When I check the design detail of Google glass. I want to get similar and simple platform by purchase parts online and make them work together. I try to learn everything I need is this project, something I never tried before like electronic knowledge, optics, 3D modeling and 3D printing. The enjoyment and the bill were growing up with the progress. With 5 iteration on appearance mode and 3 iteration on a hardware solution in 4 months, I got better resolute than what I expect.

About open source plan

I will create a website, Wechat account and simple community for people who want to join. All the SNS channel will be encouraged. And I will share my design thinking and some of source files on website. But keep the right on commercializing it. Please don’t try it.
