Windows 8.1 Spring Update back on Windows Update, links inside [Update]

The Spring Update for Windows 8.1 has been added back to Microsoft's Windows Update servers, and we have the links for x86, x64 and ARM versions below. These are official, and there's no reason to assume they are not RTM.

Windows 8.1 x86

kb2919442   (you may already have this installed).
kb2919355
kb2932046
kb2937592
kb2938439
kb2939087

Windows 8.1 x64

kb2919442   (you may already have this installed).
kb2919355
kb2932046
kb2937592
kb2938439
kb2939087

Windows RT 8.1  ARM

kb2919442   (you may already have this installed).
kb2919355
kb2932046
kb2937592
kb2938439
kb2939087

The Updates must be installed in the following order (according to OEM documents):

  1. KB2919442  (you may already have this installed).
  2. KB2919355
  3. KB2932046
  4. KB2937592
  5. KB2938439
  6. KB2939087

Others have had success doing it differently, but we here at Neowin have confirmed the above to be working. It's also possible that you will already have kb291442 installed.

You can of course opt to wait it out and let Windows Update work its magic sometime at the beginning of April when it'll be rolled out worldwide. Or take the plunge and install now, please do note that the updates require multiple reboots, and may also be pulled from the download locations at any time, like what happened last time.

If this is the first time you're hearing about the Spring Update (or Update 1) you should probably wait for the official Windows Update roll-out, see what's new here for more details on what the update brings to Windows 8.1.

According to a post in our forums, these updates are the same as the previously leaked MSU's downloaded through the Windows Update registry trick (or build 17031). If you already installed this, there's no need to update.

Update (March 21 0.00 PDT): And predictably, Microsoft has again pulled all links for this update.

Thanks for the tip in our forums FaiKee!
