Understanding the Python GIL

This page is dedicated to my PyCON'2010 talk on the Python GIL. Just as a little background, this talk represents the culmination of several previous presentations and past projects on this topic. My first work with the GIL was conducted as part of my "Python Concurrency Workshop" held May 14-15, 2009 in Chicago. The following presentations were later held at Chipy meetings:
