We have been using the same theme for Piwik for the last three years. It would be amazing to refresh the theme used in Piwik to bring a new vision and concept and better help users visualize their analytics reports.

The theme should be fresh, help user focus on the important data, and be consistent with Piwik branding.

Thanks to [http://piwik.org/blog/2013/02/clearcode-development-company-doing-business-with-piwik/ Clearcode our technology and design partner) for their future work on the design!

Is there any more info on where you guys want to go with it?

I'm guessing flat design, focus on typography and contrast to convey importance. I can try making some mockups based on the current main website if there isn't anything extra to go on at this point.

We have a new theme designed, flat design style, that will be released hopefully in time for Piwik 2.0 stable. Thanks to the new theme framework one can build a new theme for Piwik quite easily (how to create a theme)

Stay tuned for this new theme, or feel free to try create a new theme for Piwik!

In 4c2f973: Refs #4127 Adding new theme for Piwik 2: Morpheus. Morpheus is the default theme of Piwik 2 designed to help you focus on your analytics reports. In Greek mythology, Morpheus is the God of dreams. In the Matrix movie, Morpheus is the leader of the rebel forces who fight to awaken humans from a dreamlike reality called The Matrix.

Kuddos to the team at Clearcode for building this new theme!

Work in progress...

The new theme is an amazing work done by Clearcode designers on the new Theme for Piwik 2.0, Morpheus!

We will keep tweaking the theme and improve it based on your feedback, so please keep the suggestions coming. We hope you enjoy the new Piwik 2.0 experience!

Thanks for the report!

I forgot to enable Morpheus for NEW users.
It works only for users updating to 2.0.

Not a problem.

I'm in the process of deploying Piwik as an integrated analytics platform for the Open Science Framework, replacing our existing custom-rolled glorified hit counter. It should be up and running tomorrow, and we'll be using Piwik 2.0 :)

I'm making sure to note any issues I encounter on Trac, since 2.0 is still so new and I'm doing a fresh install.
