CNN: Breaking US & World News 12+

Have followed CNN for over 30 years and trust there reporting ethics. Professional and unbiased telling it as it is. I am British, my daughter’s American and for that reason I have an interest in American politics. CNN apparently is the news channel watched by more viewers than any other station? Begs the question as to the percentage of said viewers being American... I ask this because your fact checking on Trump evidently proves he is a compulsive liar...Obama nailed it when he said Trumps only interest is how he can benefit and also his friends... My question is why are correspondents or anchors not beating a much louder drum when covering his blatant misdemeanours? Personally I feel assured that one day Trump ( I cannot call him President or Mr as a person has to gain my respect for that) will be found guilty of a plethora of crimes and hopefully will face a lengthy prison sentence. The Trump name will be remembered in history as the man who pushed the country under the bus, a bus he was driving... Mal Bickell.

As an avid user of the CNN app, it has been enormously frustrating to use over the past several weeks. At some point whether via an Apple update or an app update, links within news items now redirect you on the slightest contact. Previously, one could scroll through a news article and only be redirected by actively tapping on a link. This is no longer the case and now users must carefully pick through the text to ensure they don’t accidentally touch a link. At some point I hope this gets fixed. In the meantime, I will source my news via other apps whose functionality is more user friendly.

The thing is all your positive reviews come from people who politically align with you and whilst I do on about half of your content this is a awful app and this is what people should be worrying about not whether you have integrity (it’s obvious that the organisation probably does and isn’t evil like some people say it is). The app is slow and you can’t continue to listen to music whilst you use it which is different to many news apps. There are advertisements on 1 minute videos but also on videos about such serious issues which just ruins the tone of what your trying to say. You can’t have a video about a air strike and have a advert about energy drinks on it so may I suggest if having a advert on something serious will make it less serious perhaps don’t have adverts on such content. I want to view your content but I often get bored of waiting or scroll off a video by accident and have to watch the advert again which I’m sure you do on purpose.
