Description

★ Formerly Unretina / Unretiner, this is the original, and most popular resize app for developers! (Name changed at Apple's request).

Develop iOS apps? Easily resize your @2x or -hd cocos2d images in seconds! Great for testing out non retina devices before the big painful export from Photoshop.

Supports .png .jpg .tif and .bmp.

To use simply drag @2x or -hd named images (or a folder containing the images) onto the application, choose an output folder and you are done!

Remember that Resizer is great for some images, but nothing beats recreation.

We've had some great requests for features for Version 2:
* AppleScript Support (Automatically convert a folder when files appear)
* Sharpness Filter
* Other (better quality) scaling methods
* Drop files onto icon
* Settings to default to same folder and hide the message box.

Let us know what you'd like to see!

1.4.1 + Yosemite with spaces in filename

Hate to complain about this great tool that has served me for so long. but I can’t get ver 1.4.1 to work on Yosemite when spaces exist in the filename. App won’t resize images, failing with an error for each file. Subseqent resize attempts crash the app :( I’m sure it’s just a quirk with the spaces filename.

Finally back in action!

This app does one thing, and does it better than any other app out there. I was bummed when the previous version didn't have Lion support, and tried several other apps that all had flaws and shortcomings. Thanks for bringing this bad boy back to life!

Moved to this after Retina2Normal Broke

I had been using Retina2Normal before, but it recently began crashing when trying to launch it. This app works even better and is more convienient than Retina2Normal! Goodbye pulling each png into gimp seperatly to resize them!
